Cold Norton is a small, community primary school and our aim is to provide a “happy, caring school, where every child can learn, achieve, succeed.”

 As a community school we know every child as a unique individual and share the responsibility with you in raising well rounded, literate, numerate and successful young people who are fully prepared to meet the challenges of an ever changing world. 

We value our partnership with parents and aim to work together to create an inclusive, inquisitive and interactive approach to learning which will inspire our children to become life-long learners. Our outside grounds are integral to the curriculum so that our children can explore the spirit and adventure of childhood. 

We provide many extra-curricula clubs which include opportunities for sport. We take pride in our National Healthy School status and Activemark Award.

 At Cold Norton we believe that everyone has talent and strive to discover this through our arts curriculum. We have  Artsmark Award which is recognised by the British Arts Council. 

We raise our children in a village but recognise their need to eventually live and work in the global community. Diversity, equality and modern foreign languages are taught to equip them for later life. We have gained International School Award which celebrates our efforts. 

We hold open afternoons each October for prospective parents where you can find out more and have a guided tour by our super Year 6.
